Retail Sales Increased? Never!

I do not agree with the report informing the public that retail sales have gone up. I think what is happening is that the index went up as a direct result of the increased in prices of various goods and services. I don't think people are beginning to take the increase in prices lightly. What people are doing now is to tighten their belts!
