E Class fued

I am not going to say who is correct or who is wrong in the latest fiasco in Terengganu. What state exco members are merely stating the fact that it cost a lot of money to maintain those Proton Perdana V6 over the years. I don't blame the Stste Exco members because many people will think that it is cheap to run those Perdanas but actually not in this case. It was found out that one of the many reasons for such high cost of maintaining is overcharging of the dealer towards out of warranty servicing. Besides that, the dealer, apparently was also using non genuine Proton parts when replacing old parts in those Perdana V6. Oh dear, that is not a pretty sight, isn't it?

anyway, i think the Stste exco members are right in using those new cars. If they son't use it, when are they going to use it then?

Actually it is very true that Perdana is highly expensive & faulty to maintain. The government did better with Mercedez benz before Anwar called for the withdrawal of Merc & Volvo & replaced it with Perdana. Stupid idea from the begining!

Personally, I have driven a Proton Wira for many years but never driven a Perdana V6 before so I can't comment anything on the Perdana V6. However, with the Wira, it gave me quite a lot of problems even though we went to an authorized dealer of Proton or servicing and they used genuine parts. the car will suddently loose power (automatic gearbox) and Proton engineers cannot even diagnose the problem! Can you imagine it? They acknowledged that there was a problem with the suddent lost of power but could not tell me what is wrong with it. I also have problems with a leaking boot. The boot will be flooded with water if it rains.

Gearbox & flooding is common in Protons! But how come they get it right when they export? It's third class mentality really that we give the best overseas & the worst for Malaysians!

It was stated in The Star newspaper that the ACA has picked up a total of six people who are allegedly involved in selling non genuine spare parts or second hand spare parts to Terengganu Exco Members which totals RM1.07 million over four years. You can have a look at this page. I think it is rediculous to overcharge people because somehow or rather the truth will reveal itself.
