Fine, if he thinks that the press has taken his words out of context, he should explain why he said what he has said before. I don't see the connection of the formation of Malaysia has anything to do with what he has just said. It is just nonsense. During the formation of Malaysia, three main races, the Malay, Chinese and Indian, have agreed that Malays will be responsible for governing the country where the Chinese will be responsible for the economic welfare of the country and the Indians will be responsible for providing professional services to the country. That was it, isn't it? There was nothing stated that Chinese is second class citizens though. I would like to hear him speak as to what was his meaning when he said what he has said? He is a coward because he does not want to speak up. He is scarred! You might never know that he is a grand supporter of Mahathir and he is not happy as Mahathir no longer the prime minster therefore does not favours him anymore especially under Abdullah's guidance.
Ahmad Ismail is wrong. He is a confused man. The situation got worst when Mahathir said that he should not apologies. That was the icing on the cake. I think that was the last straw for Koh Tsu Koon. He had had enough of this. Gerakan is meant to leave BN. If Gerakan were to leave BN, where would they go? Join the opposition? They have the mighty DAP! Oh well, not to worry because they can disband the party and fit into DAP. I am sure that it is possible. Alternatively, members of the Gerakan party can remain as independent.
This is the working of Mahathir. I can see where is he coming from. Someone told me that he is not happy with the way how the government is run by Abdullah but I failed to see the reason behind it. Fine, if Mahathir does not like Abdullah's way of running the country, he should just lash out at Abdullah. Where is the people's champion Tun? Mahathir was seen as the people's champion but not anymore after his comment about Ahmad Ismail's apologies not necessary. In fact, Ahmad Ismail should resign if he has any dignity left in him. All those years of power in Bukit Bendera Utara has left him paralysed...
