I think it is also time for me to change the HSF if I could. I am using an Artic Cooling Freezer Pro 7 which is cheap and very good. The main problem is the size of the HSF. It has a hugh sink. Anyway, I am looking forward to get my hands on the Artic Cooling Freezer Xtreme! It is still out of stock at the moment. I have checked on Yoyotech but they do not have any stock at the moment. Too bad...

Nehalem CPU anyone?
Intel would release Nehalem quad-cores this year. The specification of the three new CPUs are marvsllous! You do get a choice of either 2.66Ghz, 2.93Ghz or 3.2Ghz with 8MB of L2 cache with TDP of just 130W. Well, the new CPUs will be using the new LGA 1366 socket mobo with new chipset (ICH11?) and it uses quick path Interconnect which is similar to AMD's Hypertransport. I wonder why is there a sudden where Intel moved over to ditch FSB then? Perhaps the idea of Hypertransport is much better than their own FSB then? Anyway, we will see about it then. Right now, the most affordable quad-core will be the Q6600 as it has 8MB of L2 cache. The next version up the level is good but it is expensive. I would go for the Q6600 as for now.
