King of Tennis Fiasco

Remember last week where John McEnroe and Roger Federer were supposed to come to Penang for the event of 'King of Tennis'? Well, there were more than just the two of them but the well known ones will be in Penang for the event. What happened? From what I have gathered, I can see that there are certain quaters who did not do their job and there are people who wants to take the opportunity to create an unnecessary commotion.

We know that the said event was cancelled. One paper reported that the cancellation was due the fact that a payment was not being honourned so the Swiss counterpart did not allow players to fly over to Penang for the event. There were another report which said that the organiser in Malaysia did not have sufficient funds to promote the event, hence the event was cancelled. The third report also stated that as of right now, UMNO division head has lodged a report regarding the abuse of power relating to the 'King of Tennis' event.

I don't quite understand what is wrong with UMNO in Penang. The event was classified as a failure as I don't believe that there were any abuse of power. I do understand that there was a report stating that the organiser did not pay the RM200,000 deposit. So? Where is the abuse of power? The police report is actually politically motivated!!! Where is justice? I don't understand in a recent report that Ronnie Liu was charged after the incident happened a year ago. Where is justice? Someone please talk to me.

I think there is some misunderstanding over here. From what I have known, Arianna Teoh was the origaniser. If I am not mistaken, she is the girlfriend of our very first F1 racer... You know who it is.

This scandal has nothing to do with Arianna Teoh, she is the organizer but what has happened does not fall under her jurisdiction and responsibility.
