Nokie - Jumping on the Touchscreen Wagon?

I have noticed that since the released of Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia seems to be on the HTC band wagon. Do you know why? Well, you do have the upcoming Nokia N97 and that is also a fully touchscreen phone. There will be more of the touchscreen phones made available not just to the high end but also the midrange and the low end phones from Nokia. I am pretty impressed though. However, I would not know how would they classify midrange or low-end but I do have a good guess. I believe it would be on the functionality and the specification of such phones.

I was testing out the 5800 XpressMusic and after one hour, I still could not see the beauty in it as compared to the Apple iphone. It is not that I want to have an Iphone but if Nokia wants to deliver the goods, I think it should be at least on par with the Mac OS X or HTC's TouchFLO 3D UI. Anyway, it is all up to Nokia though. It is up to them to decide on which side they are going to be. I think the Android OS is making a coming back wave as the G2 is going to be launched soon. Good luck to Nokia then.
