Aung San Suu Kyi

Aung Sa Suu Kyi, the great Nobel Peace Prize winner a decade ago, triving for peace in her great country, spent 14 years out of her 20 years under House Arrest and now, she is still being under House Arrest. I don't really understand why is she still being under House Arrest. Can't the people in Cambodia do something to free their own people?

What is going on over there? The good news is that she has been given a top Amnesty honour as part of her contribution towards humanity.

Sometimes, it is really funny to see that a country like Cambodia is still very much under the same reign as during the dark ages. Tourism aside, the country is still very much under the old school. No doubt that you can see some good development in the country itself in the form of tourism and textile export but the great Aung san Suu Kyi is still under House Arrest. If she is in the EU, such condition will be a violation of many Articles within the ECHR (particularly Articles 1-7).

While U2 frontman Bono is going to deliver the top Amnesty honour to her, it leaves us in doubt whether she will ever be able to be set free.

The greatest problem in Myanmar is due to the Political Dictatorship of the Military Rule by the Juntas.

Freedom and Peace will only come to Myanmar if a Super Power nation is willing to kill the leader of the Junta and crucial leaders behind him. There is no other way to this.

The Juntas are barbarians, they have killed so many innocent citizens including monks.

Hence, Barbarians must be killed like Barbarians! There is no other way out OR Suu Kyi will eventually die in her home.

pls:sorry for the two deletes above, i had keyboard issues on my work pc.

I just don't understand why is she still under house arrest. She should be leading the country and not being strip of her freedom! That is nonsense! I think ASEAN countries should rise up to challenge Cambodia or Myanmar now.

Look at today's update where by lawyers for Aung San Suu Kyi is desperate to make a last attempt to free her but I think the chance is quite slim because it is predicted that she will be locked up in her house for another five years.
