Eurovision 2008

I was quite upset by the fact that UK came last in the latest Eurovision contest. I do agree with Sir Terry that Eurovision contest no longer a song contest. It is a matter of countries voting for their favourate country and so on. UK only received 14 points (surprised surprised) but it was just an upset.

I think it is expected that no matter how good UK singer is, he or she will not be able to clinge any points because those people who voted for the best song are not really good in selecting a good song. No doubt that the Russian singer sang a powerful ballad produced by Timbaland. What can you expect? Timbaland is famous in the USA and also in the UK for producing ballads such as 'Apologies' and also 'The Way We Were'. I have to agree that the song which was sung by the Russian contestant was really good. However, I think UK's contestant, Mr Abraham, should have received more votes. What a shame. Anyway, we will see about it then. There is no point in knowing who is going to win because I don't think those people who voted know the true meaning of a good song.

Man U is the Champ!!!

Oh yes! Finally! Manchester United is the declared winner of the Champions League!!! They managed to beat Chelsea on a 6-5 penalty shoot out! I am so happy because I am a die hard Manchester United fan! Well, I am more happy than ever because Ryan Giggs played in the last few minutes before the penalty shoot out started. Oh yes Manchester United!!! Go for it!!!

Man U is the King!!!

I am never good at football. In fact, I have little or no interest in English football at all. Back home, I always support KL team but they alwas lose. Given KL's track record, they are still the defending champion (not now though). Anyway, I was overjoyed to hear that Manchester United has won the Premier League title for the tenth time. I am really a happy man now.

It seems that it has gone a long way for Ryan Giggs. I have always admire him ever since I was interested in the team's performance for the past eight years. I can remember that at a point in time, Manchester United won triple titles in a year! It was excellent! Well, they have done it again with two titles this year! Fantastic! Way to go Ryan Giggs! You will always have my support! Who says that we always need to rely on young blood? When you need the experience, you need the old players. I wished David Beckham was in the team. Oh well, he is just too busy with his advetisement shoots. Bless him.

MU is the Greatest!!!

Finally, after four troubled years, Manchester United finally won the Premier League for this year. That is a good news even though MU fans had to wait for four years before getting a result such as this. Congratulations!!!
