As for me, it depends. One thing for sure. If I would want something cheap, I would go to a shop which is cheap and no questions asked. I would also not complain about the price of the goods or services simply because I have accepted the price for the goods and services before even started.
It is really strange and sad to see that there are many people in this would who would want to take the advantage of the current market situation and bring down prices. That is not what it should be.
I do understand that there are many alternative places to buy cheap goods. If a customer is unhappy about the price of the product, just go away and look for alternative places to buy. I don't think that it is fair on people to complain solely based on the price which they are going to pay.
I think they do not understand the word 'quality'. Perhaps they are not really educated at all. They do not know about the market situation. I do understand that there are many places where one would be able to get cheaper goods and services. Why not they just leave and go somewhere else instead of complaining non-stop?
One example would be groceries. If one were to think that Sainsbury or Marks and Spencer is expensive, go somewhere else to buy. I don't think it is useful for anyone to complain that it is expensive to buy anything from these two stores. They can just leave and go somewhere to buy cheaper goods if that is what they want. I am sure that there is a price to pay for quality goods and services.
Will they ever learn? I don't think so. The world is so materialised nowdays. Where are the grass roots? Thrown out of the window. It makes me really sad... What to do? People will take advantage of you if you are kind and gentle. They will bully you if you are soft spoken or even better- very jealous of you if you are better than them. They will come up with anything just to bring you down. That is life, I am afraid.
